Hideo Kojima lets out a few home truths as he speaks at the European unveiling of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Speaking at the European Press launch for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, creator Hideo Kojima today announced that Raiden is unpopular. Whilst itâs unlikely that anybody still doesnât know who this character is, weâll keep quiet as the game still hasnât been released in Europe yet.
Kojima also said that the cut-scenes do take up too much time and that as a result the game isnât as interactive as it should be.
A showing of the documentary set to be included with the European version reveals numerous scenes that were cut from the final product. One sees Snake running down the tanker chased by a huge wave, along with plans for a character named Chinaman who didnât make the final cut. Many of his characteristics such as running up walls were transferred to Vamp, who was originally a womanâ¦
