The Bizarre Creations shooter is awarded the Game of the Month for February 2008...
TVG is proud to announce that as the highest scoring title over the last few weeks, the Game of the Month for February 2008 has been awarded to The Club, developed by Liverpool's Bizarre Creations, and published by SEGA Europe. The arcade shooter beat both SCEE's PSP strategy title Patapon and Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 to the top spot.
The Club's status as Game of the Month winner comes just a month after SEGA kick-started the TVG awards for 2008, with the Petroglyph RTS Universe at War: Earth Assault. Despite debuting at a respectable seventh during its first week on the UK All Format Full Price charts, the game has dropped down the ladder in the last couple weeks, and is now sitting in 26th place.
So will SEGA score a hat-trick in March? Well, with Viking: Battle of Asgard, Condemned 2, and SEGA Superstars Tennis all set for launch during the next few weeks, anything is possible!
