SEGA Readies Master System For Virtual Console Induction News

Fist of the North Star and Fantasy Zone making the jump from Master System to the Nintendo Wii...


SEGA looks set to expand its Virtual Console support with confirmation that it will shortly be releasing its Master System titles on the Wii's downloadable platform.

Launching across Japan during February, SEGA's first selection of titles includes the iconic 1986 titles, Fist of the North Star and Fantasy Zone, costing 600 and 500 Wii Points respectively.

No word on when SEGA plans to release these titles outside of Japan, although the publisher has confirmed that they will make an appearance across North America and Europe soon.

the Wii is a fine console, problem is the games have a limited audience. The games i've played so far have been a bit simple and easy. The Wii is better suited to party games and enjoying a game the whole family can enjoy.
