Players can assume the role of Lyra, a young girl, along with her daemon Pantalaimon, as she travels through the frozen wastes of the North collecting special items in order to explore, evade and deceive her way through confrontations to rescue a friend kidnapped by a mysterious organisation known as The Gobblers. Gamers can also take on the character of Iorek Byrnison, a great armoured polar bear who joins the quest to protect Lyra during their journey.

Shiny Entertainment adapting New Line Cinema's upcoming Christmas title for consoles and PC...


Several months after it was first confirmed, SEGA Europe has today revealed further details on the upcoming adaptation of His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass (The Northern Lights).

Announced for seven platforms (including the three next-gen systems), The Golden Compass will be released just prior to the movie this Christmas, with Shiny Entertainment responsible for six versions - and A2M (Artificial Mind & Movement) producing the Nintendo DS version.

Set across thirteen locations, players will follow the adventure of Lyra, her daemon Pan, and noble polar bear Iorek Byrnison across the northern wastes in Philip Pullman's story of good versus evil. The game will also feature a raft of unlockable secrets, together with a host of mini-games with the help of the mysterious alethiometer.

I know im very inpatient, but can someone PLEASE answer me? i've tried it like a billion times but i dont get what ur supposed to do. i think its something to do with getting the growing dots, but im not sure...help!!!!!!! (please, oh please)
