Coming from the creators of the Pharaoh and Caesar series is a new PC title, promising to be the first in a new-generation of god games…
SEGA Europe today announced an agreement with Myelin Media, LLC to publish Immortal Cities: Children of the Nile for the PC, across all territories outside of the United States and Canada.
Currently in development at Tilted Mill Entertainment, whose team membersā credits include the Pharaoh and Caesar series.
Children of the Nile is set to be the first title in the Immortal City series; as Pharaoh you must design and build glorious cities in which hundreds of people will live, in your quest to become a supreme and god-like ruler.
Claiming to be the āfirstā in a new-generation of god games, Children of the Nile is as much about balancing the needs of individuals within the society as it is about strategic placement of buildings.
The advanced 3D engine at work allows players to switch from a birdās eye perspective to street level in order to watch the populace go about their daily tasks, demonstrating incredibly detailed AI.
Naoya Tsurumi, Chief Operating Officer, SEGA Europe, commented, āThe combination of city-building elements with a naturally evolving society will set Children of the Nile apart as the next evolutionary step in the āgod gameā genre. We are very impressed with the progress of Children of the Nile, Tilted Millās rich heritage is clearly evident.ā
Gene Mauro, Chief Executive Officer of Myelin Media, commented, āFrom the start, SEGA Europe has demonstrated an energy and enthusiasm that has made them an ideal choice of publisher for the first title in the Immortal Cities franchise. The team is committed to building the global awareness of Children of the Nile.ā
