As the long and winding 'Road to E3' continues, SEGA announces a third game...
SEGA has today announced the development of World Snooker Championship 2007 for Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and PlayStation2. Featuring over one hundred real-world players and ten licensed snooker tournaments updated for the 2007 season, WSC 2007 will also include a number of pool modes such as tournaments and trick shots.
Additionally World Snooker Championship 2007 will feature a 'Golden Cue' mode, which amalgamates both cue sports into the same match, so that gamers can test their adaptability against key players such as Ronnie O'Sullivan.
"Last year's World Snooker Championship was a massive hit for SEGA," commented Matt Woodley, Creative Director of SEGA. "We are delighted to be coming back for a new season, with new additions to the game and another opportunity to prove yet again that Blade Interactive really are masters of cuesports."
PSP owners won't be left out from getting the cue treatment with confirmation that World Snooker Challenge 2007 is also in development at Blade Interactive; like the home consoles' snooker game, World Snooker Challenge 2007 is set for an Autumn release.
We'll have more news shortly...
