The massively destructible racer is set to hit PSP as well as PlayStation3 confirms SEGA Europe and America...

SEGA Europe and SEGA of America have today confirmed development on Full Auto 2: Battlelines for PSP. News of the handheld version of SEGA's PlayStation3 exclusive comes just weeks after the publisher signed a development deal with the game's producers, Deep Fried Entertainment.

"The PSP is primed and ready for the frantic action that Full Auto 2: Battlelines will deliver," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "The new cars, weapons, its 56 event single-player story-mode, and numerous multiplayer modes all add up to an unparalleled experience for gamers on the go."

Featuring a single-player mode with over fifty races, a strong selection of weapons-ready vehicles, and the trademarked "Unwreck" feature, the PSP version of Battlelines seems to have everything covered - though the question is whether the handheld will be able to cope with the level of physics driven destruction that's quintessentially Full Auto is yet to be answered...

SEGA is yet to announce a release period for the PSP version of Full Auto 2: Battlelines; we'll have more news shortly...
