Wading deeper into the figures, SEGA Corporation's Consumer Business, which includes the likes of Sega Europe, SEGA of America, and The Creative Assembly, has turned around last year's figures. During the previous year this sector of the business experienced an operating loss of ¥8.81 billion (£42.2 million), whilst the company has confirmed an operating income of ¥1.97 billion (£9.4 million) in this year's figures.
Whilst a solid achievement for the company it's dwarfed by the financial figures from Sammy's Pachinko sector, which saw a net income of ¥99.85 billion (£478.0 million).
