Having recently picked up the ashes of Eidos, SCi confirm takeover talks are in place...
Less then six months since successfully completing the acquisition of Eidos, SCi Entertainment today confirmed that it is in talks with a number of interested parties regarding a takeover.
Reports in the UK newspapers allege that the last great British publisher has attracted the interest of both Electronic Arts and Midway, along with investment firm Apax Partners. Shares within SCi rose sharply based on the news to 600p, which puts the value of SCi Entertainment Group at just over £430 million.
