SCEE Confirms Shadow of Colossus News

New title from ICO creators confirmed for a European release along with a name change...

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today confirmed a European release and name change for the latest title from the creators of ICO.

Renamed Shadow of the Colossus for its European release, the game has been hovering on the radar for close to two years when the early suggestion was a full-blown sequel to the stunning ICO.

This didnât transpire to be true, as specific details on a wholly original title first became apparent back in September 2004.

Weâll have more information on Shadow of Colossus very soon.

i loved this game for the PS2.. too bad there wont be part 2 for the ps3.. i cant imagine how good it would look like with the ps3 graphics..

my whole point to that was that wander is not the boy from ICO. the ICO story took place hundreds of years later therefore it is not a prequel just a related story of the origin of the ICO religon.

if there was such a game or the ps3, id be out on it all the time,
bst game iv ever played,
ico and s.o.t.c. was fab, five stars,

Shadow of the Colossus is a prequel to Ico.
Also the ending to shadow was so sad, it wouldve been better if they'd have got the 2 lovers back together.
