More bonnet jumping action as Bigbig follow up with a sequel on PSP and PS2...

Following up on one of those rare enigmas, a truly original title for the PSP, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today confirmed a sequel to the popular action/racer, Pursuit Force, which is currently in development at Bigbig Studio for the PSP and PlayStation2.

Promising more of the Hollywood styled action, intense car chases and jumping from bonnets that propelled the original, Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice witnesses the return of The Convicts and Warlords gangs to fight against alongside the new threat of the Raiders and The Syndicate, and the increased competition from the Viper division, a new, heavy-handed rival arm of the police. To assist their fight, four new members have been added to the Pursuit Force roster, including Sarah (Air Support), Gage (High Speed Pursuit), Ash (Special Operations) and Preach (Heavy Assault).

Bigbig promise a greater sense of variety in the sequel with the addition of further vehicles to take control of, including a bike and sidecar, jet-skis, helicopters and a hovercraft. The sequel also features a new Justice Bar that regenerates health after a certain time, along with an all-new four-player Wi-Fi mode for the PSP whilst the PlayStation2 version will feature two-player splitscreen.

Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice is slated for release this summer.
