The precursor to the 2008 driving sim is scheduled for European PlayStation 3s before the end of the current year...

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today confirmed that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be available for PlayStation 3 before the end of the year on Blu-Ray and PlayStation Network - a precursor to a 2008 European launch of the full game.

Featuring over forty cars including models from Nissan, Lotus, and Ferrari, with several tracks including Suzuka, and several new features including 16-player online gameplay and 'Gran Turismo TV', the Prologue looks set to tease at what the final release will hold in a little over twelve months time.

GT developer Polyphony Digital had previously confirmed an October release for Prologue across Japan.

I think the graphics of this game are really amazing. However, when it comes to playability I think it is complete bull sugar ! Probably the crappest driving game I've ever played.

This is slow slow & boring the cars are beautiful & the graphics a absoloutly fantastic, but what's the point in all this is you can't build your money to drive the beautiful cars, because you start of with the slowest car available.....
