First ever screenshot of Rune on GameCube.
Having just popped up on the Spaceworld game list about a week ago we now know who will be developing Rune a few gameplay details, as well as having the first ever screenshot. The developer is From Software who were responsible for King's Field and Evergrace so they do have experience in creating role-playing games.
Apparently the game is like a traditional RPG but to summon monsters you will use a card trading system not unlike Pokemon. However from this screenshot we can see that this game is not aimed at children so it will be interesting to see how the card trading aspects of the game sit within this framework. According to Famitsu, from which this screenshot was taken, Rune will be playable at Spaceworld - someone's been keeping this one under wraps - but a release date is not known yet.
