SEGA of America announce the name of the Feel the Magic sequel, but will a European version retain the title...
SEGA of America has today announced that The Rub Rabbits! will be released for Nintendo DS in February 2006. The game, a follow-up to the DS title Project Rub (Feel the Magic XX/XY), will feature four new gameplay modes including Hullabaloo (where players play a finger-twisting game of Twister), and Connect mode where up to four players can play one of six multiplayer games. The Story mode once again follows the exploits of a guy trying to win the affections of a girl heâs seen, but this time the action takes place in 35 chapters, double the content of the original title.
"The Rub Rabbits! delivers a refreshing experience for DS fans featuring customized gameplay that takes gamers to a whole new level of creativity," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "Touching is good, and SEGA once again has created a game that maximizes the technological functionality of the Nintendo DS."
Project Rub was one of the most memorable titles for Nintendo DS earlier in the year, and this follow-up promises to be more of the same. A European release date is yet to be confirmed, so too a European name for that matter; weâll have more news on the title shortlyâ¦
