Atari confirms that the first expansion pack for RT3 will be released before the end of the month...
Atari has today confirmed that the first expansion pack for Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, entitled âSoaked!â has gone gold ahead of a release on June 21st 2005. The pack, which will enable gamers to create their own water park, has been developed by Dogâs Life creators Frontier and includes fifty new rides and coasters from swimming pool complexes to the water-based coaster, the Roller-Soaker!
Gamers will also be able to interact with the water in several different ways including shooting water cannons at guests and stirring up the water, and the Soaked! will also include the ability to create âmarine spectacularsâ, featuring killer whales, underwater tunnels, and aquariums. The RCMixmaster has also been upgraded in Soaked! so that water shows, laser shows, and firework displays can all be customised using the playerâs own music library.
