Stylish 1940's detective thriller from the writer and director of The Getaway...
The attempt by Rockstar Games to diversify its line-up from more than just GTA took another development, with the appearance of a teaser website for a title dubbed L.A. Noire.
Currently in development at Team Bondi, L.A. Noire is described as an open-ended detective thriller set in the 1940's that will see players investigate a series of 'gruesome murders'. Although precise details on the title are scarce at present, it seems that Team Bondi is a relatively new Australian studio established by Brendan McNamara, former Director of Development at SCEE Team Soho and Writer and Director of The Getaway.
Making the annoucement, Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games said, "Brendan and I have known each other for a long time, and to finally have the opportunity to work together on a game is exciting."
"The longstanding mutual respect and the combined experience between the two of us make this a great partnership," added Brendan McNamara, CEO of Team Bondi.
Rockstar Games will be unveiling the first official trailer and further details from what promises to be a stylish new title on October 5th; check back soon for more on L.A. Noire.
