RockStar confirm next title will be San Andreas, whilst also registering GTA: Tokyo and GTA: Bogota…
Forgive us for being slightly big-headed but havenât we been telling you that the next GTA title will be named âGTA: San Andreasâ, whilst others have been quick to label it as âGTA: Sin Cityâ???
The suggestion that RockStar North would opt for Sin City was exaggerated the other day when Amazon listed the product for release as âGTA IV: Sin Cityâ; however as we claimed at the time, that just appears to have been a move to generate pre-orders for the title, as it emerged today that RockStar have in fact registered âGTA: San Andreasâ and âGrand Theft Auto: San Andreasâ as official trademarks.
As weâve told you from the start, itâs always been RockStar North ambition to release a trilogy of games on this generation, before making the next big evolution of the series on the next-generation of systems.
In a surprising move itâs also emerged that Rockstar have registered âGTA: Tokyoâ and âGTA: Bogotaâ at the same time; making suggestions that the GTA franchise will once again step outside of the fictional interpretation of America. We might be speculating wildly, however what if the next-generation version allowed you to travel across the worldâ¦
