Capcom set to publish this multi-format cinematic medieval romp through English history and myth...
We were relatively surprised to find out that Capcom have picked up this game for release on Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC. Pause for thought and it seems quite sensible, the game appears to be rather interesting, a combination of different gameplay styles, cinematic style and a non-linear route through the game.
The name Robin Hood will immediately get people interested, and the previous game in this series was a big seller, although we wonder how many people can remember it.
These screenshots show off some of the different gameplay elements, the game allowing you to try your hand at sword fighting, archery, jousting, siege warfare and army battles from a strategy perspective. Should be an interesting fusion of game styles, and with a strong plot featuring a classic cast of characters including; Maid Marian, Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet, Prince John, and no doubt, some very merry men.
We'll take a closer look at this game soon, for now take a look at these screens from the Xbox version.
