Reuters Opens Second Life Bureau News

The online virtual world becomes the latest location to get a presence from the global news outlet...
Reuters has announced that it's opened a bureau in the online gameworld Second Life, which will update 'Second Lifers' with the latest goings on in the game.
Manning the desk will be the organisation's Media Correspondent Adam Pasick, who has been re-created and named "Adam Reuters" in Second Life. Speaking to the BBC about his latest role, Pasick said, "As strange as it might seem, it's not that different from being a reporter in the real world...Once you get used to it - it becomes very much like the job I have been doing for years."
Reuters has become the latest company to get involved with the MMO, following the likes of BBC Radio1 and Toyota - singer Suzanne Vega performed in Second Life in early August too.
Wonder whether we'll see a virtual Sir Trev sitting at an ITN newsdesk in the future...
