Reports from Japan suggest that Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles will chart the events between Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4...


Information on Capcom's two Resident Evil titles currently in development have been sparse to say the least, but Japanese site Quiter has reported apparent details on the Wii instalment, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles.

According to the article, Umbrella Chronicles will be set between the events of Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4, which suggests that the title will chart the downfall of the infamous Umbrella Corporation. The report also states that three principal characters will feature in the game, including Jill Valentine, and possibly even long-standing nemesis, Albert Wesker.

News that Valentine would be appearing in the game strengthens voice artist Tara Platt's claim last September from that she'd be voicing the Resident Evil 3: Nemisis protagonist in the Wii title.

The gameplay will apparently follow in Resident Evil 4's footsteps, which wouldn't be a bad thing. Capcom are yet to issue any comment on of the supposed details.

I'd like umbrella chronicles to have a face off at the end between all the survivors of previous resident evil games ,and all the enemys and the victims e.g

if they keep the wii controls simple like just aiming to shoot and swinging it for the knife, the game will do good.
