Furhter details and more screens FROM the last Resident Evil title ever to grace the Playstation2.
Information is beginning to rapidly increase on Capcomâs final Resident Evil title for the Playstation2, Resident Evil Online.
After yesterdayâs news article, weâve learnt a few specific details on the characters available as well as new screens taken from Famitsu.
As we reported yesterday they are eight selectable characters, from which a group of four are picked. If a group doesnât have four human players, then the computer controls the remaining ones. None of the characters have any ties to the existing Resident Evil titles; instead theyâre simply everyday Racoon City civilians fighting for their life. However they all seem to have quite varied professions, and that Yoko character with a dark secret, hmmm!!!
Itâs believed that each of the characters have different abilities, so that teamwork is required to solve the various puzzles in the game. However players will have to split up from the team in order to progress through the game, which will hopefully lead to some exciting scripted moments.
Itâs hard to tell from the screens whether the game follows the pre-rendered approach favoured by most titles in the series, or uses real-time visuals akin to Resident Evil: code Veronica, being online weâd suspect the latter.
