Resident Evil Departs GameCube? News

“If Nintendo cannot get its numbers up, particularly in Japan, we may need to reconsider keeping Resident Evil exclusive to GameCube.”
MSNBC recently spoke to Capcom Americaâs President Bill Gardner who interestingly said, âIf Nintendo cannot get its numbers up, particularly in Japan, we may need to reconsider keeping Resident Evil exclusive to GameCube.â
For those of you that have lived under a rock for the last 6 months, Capcom announced that the popular Resident Evil series would become an exclusive to the GameCube. However like Bill has said if the numbers for the GameCube donât add up then we may see Resident Evil on the Xbox, or PlayStation 2 once again.
Bill also went on to say, âNo one at Capcom has adopted the Xbox cause. But then, we have not been enamoured with the problems of creating games for PlayStation 2.â
