The survival-horror franchise is set to continue into the next-generation on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360...
Capcom has today announced that Resident Evil 5 is to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The news that a next-generation instalment of the long-running series would be released has long been expected, but the fact that the series is also going to be making itās debut on a Microsoft console alongside the PlayStation3 is sure to make certain people in the industry sit up and take note.
In the statement Capcom hasnāt suggested any of the gameās forthcoming plotlines other than that the game is āā¦certain to bring new fans to the series while expanding the world of video game entertainment to new heights.ā The statement refrains from making a suggested release date for what will surely become one of the most anticipated titles so far confirmed for the next generation.
