The return of two characters are featured in these new screens...
New screens from Resident Evil 0 today revealed that Albert Wesker and William Birkin will star in the forthcoming GameCube title.
Weskerâs appearance in the Resident Evil franchise has been well documented throughout, however fans may not remember Birkin who was first mentioned in Resident Evil 2. William Birkin was the lead scientist of Umbrella and father to Sherry Birkin; he created the G-Virus a variation of the T-Virus featured in Resident Evil 1. When Umbrella agents raided his laboratory, Birkin took the virus and became the tyrant like creature that featured in the second title.
Resident Evil 0 is due for release in Japan and the US later in the year; weâll have to wait until 2003 before we see it.
The remake of Resident Evil is released today in Europe, check it out.
