Reservoir Dogs Confirmed For Autumn 2006 News

Eidos confirms that after a wait of over three years, the adaptation of Tarantino's debut feature will be arriving this Autumn...
Eidos has today confirmed that the videogame adaptation of Quentin Tarantino's 1992 movie Reservoir Dogs is to be released during Autumn 2006. The original license to develop a game based on the film was acquired by Eidos' parent company SCi Entertainment in 2003, but has until now been something of an enigmatic title, emerging now and again during different stages of production leaving some to wonder whether it would ever leave development hell.
Set during the events of the movie, including scenes not featured such as the infamous heist, Reservoir Dogs is a third-person action title, and will also enjoy several of the key songs such as "Little Green Bag", and "Stuck in the Middle With You."
"We are proud to be working with one of the most original films to be released in our lifetime on a gaming format," said Helen Lawson, Brand Manager, Eidos Interactive. "RESERVOIR DOGS will appeal to both movie and gaming fans, and offers an unprecedented opportunity to play through the events of the movie and fill in the gaps."
It'll be interesting to see how well the scenes of the movie translate into a videogame, especially since it will dispel some of the unseen events...wonder whether there'll be a earlobe cutting mini-game?
