Remote Play Makes Lair PSP Possible News

The PlayStation 3 title becomes the first game playable on PSP thanks to Remote Play...
It's true - PlayStation 3's Lair is playable over PSP, courtesy of Remote Play functionality. Rumours and torrents of speculation over whether the game is the first PS3 title to feature Remote Play functionality have been emerging over the weekend, but has now been confirmed by US-based Kotaku, and now Sony Computer Entertainment Europe itself.
Representatives from SCEE announced to another US-based site, industry-orientated Next-Gen, that Lair - scheduled for released in Europe at the end of September - was the first to enable Remote Play functionality, something that had been limited to viewing video files streamed wirelessly from the PS3.
Despite the obvious advantage that the ability has to offer, there are one or two 'teething' issues, not least the fact that the PSP doesn't have a second set of shoulder buttons, required in Lair to brake and land the flying dragons...perhaps the development of a 'PSP Safe' control system will have to be created for PS3 games in future.
