Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a world overrun by private military companies (PMCs), wars are no longer fought over nations or ideologies. Hideo Kojima demonstrates the use of advanced rendering techniques to bring characters to life...


Hideo Kojima has recently revealed his intention to include people from the real world in the forthcoming PlayStation3 title, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

Marking a first for the series, Kojima-san revealed the fact at last week's Tokyo Game Show but refused to elaborate on the decision beyond demonstrating how the Japanese actress, Yumi Kikuchi, has been faithfully rendered to be included in the game.

No further word on who else Kojima-san is planning to include in the title, so let us know who you think the team should be looking at...

I'm a little confused. Was Mr. Kojima going to end his highly acclaimed MGS franchise with the grand finale of having Solid Snake ascend up into heaven in a flying Porshe? Very interesting.

I dont really care how good it looks as long as it plays well.I think the best in the series is Solid on ps1.it plays great and and has a great story.stick to that and all is well in my book.Besides it will hit the 360 in a year or two.lol.be well al... [ Read full comment... ]

again.... it doesn't matter what console you use, its up to the developers to bring the goods...After all, what good is an xbox or ps3 if the games are no good. Stop arguing about which console is best, and just enjoy the games

besides haze, killzone 2, R2, FF, and many more ps3 just sucks....jp ..... ps3 is gonna win this year
360 is a little baby compared to the ps3 and which get sick more often ..
