More on this gameIn an industry where rumours and speculation is usually dealt with quotes of "...does not comment on rumours and speculation", today's response from Rare to whisperings of motion control functionality in Banjo-Kazooie is nothing short of a breath of fresh air.
Flatly denying the rumour, which appeared online yesterday, Rare representatives commented that:
"There's no truth to the Banjo motion control rumour. Banjo has been designed to be played using a gamepad from the outset.
"People shouldn't take rumours that gestate in comments sections so seriously. They can often turn out to be red herrings, as is the case with Banjo and motion controls."
Rumours of a Wii-remote-like controller for Xbox 360 have been floating around for months, with increased speculation that an announced could be made at next week's E3. Due for release on Xbox 360 this autumn, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts marks the first time the bear and bird duo have made an appearance since Banjo Pilot on GBA in 2005.

I hope they don't the same to Banjo as they did to that poor drunk lil squirrel Conkers. I honestly feel they ruined that game and I hope they don't do the same to one of my favorite N64 video game series. I find it cool that Banjo will be back though.

Most ambitious game to date - I'm looking forward to seeing whether Banjo 3 can actually accomplish this given Rare's past pedigree.

It seems like it has been some time since I have last played Banjo-Kazooie, but alas, there is hope! I have waited countless years for this game. Rare can take as long as they want with this game because everybody knows what happens to a game that is rushed to meet a deadline *hint* KOTOR II ring any bells? The game was amazing, but it had an empty feeling about it. It was rushed and as a result, much of the gameplay was wrongfully robbed. Let us hope that this does not happen with Banjo-Kazzoie 3! All of this hype- what a shame to go to waist if it is not what it is made out to be.
