What's Rare been up to since announcing their first wave of Xbox titles, we unearth a few details on possible new titles...
£375million for a Nintendo64 port, an unproven game and a dodgy action/adventure title, may not sound like the smartest investment, however we have no doubt that Rareâs quality will eventually shine through once again.
Today we learnt some details on the UK developersâ plans, including confirmation of a SabreWulf title for the Xbox. SabreWulf began life as a ZX Spectrum title and has since been bought back to life in a GBA title believed to be released next year; hopefully specific details on the title wonât be too far behind.
Itâs also been claimed that development on âPerfect Dark Zeroâ is moving along at a rapid pace and that we can expect the first selection of media very shortly, presumably at Xâ03 in just under a fortnight.
Weâve heard whisperings about a âBanjo & Kazooieâ title, which may have some reasoning behind the countless references of the said game in âGrabbed by the Ghouliesâ.
Unfortunately no word on the MMORPG believed to be in the works, however itâs certainly looking that after being accused of not releasing enough games, Rare have certainly got back on track with up to 8 games believed to be in development for the Xbox.
