In this new episode, you lead Team Rainbow, the world’s most elite counter-terrorist unit, as they are called into action and unfamiliar territory to battle a bioterrorist threat. Ubisoft confirms a release date for the consoles and announces an IRC developer chat...

Originally slated for release during March 2005, but finding itself delayed for fiscal reasons and claims that the game needed extra work, Ubisoft today confirmed a September 2005 release for Rainbow Six: Lockdown on the Playstation2, Xbox and GameCube. PC fans however will have to wait a little longer, while Red Storm Entertainment continues development ahead of its planned early 2006 release.

To celebrate the announcement, the developers will be available to answer questions on a US IRC Chat on May 12th 2005 5PM (PST)/ 1AM (GMT). Please find the contact details below:
