Ubisoft confirm a Playstation2 version of the hit Xbox and PC title...
Ubisoft today confirmed the release of 'Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3' for release on the Playstation2 in March 2004.
Based on the Xbox version, which was itself based on the PC title 'Raven Shield' released earlier in 2003, the Playstation2 version will feature online support, voice communication and exclusive features such as a new split-screen co-op mode and extra maps and missions.
"The Tom Clancy brand represents one of the best-selling videogame franchises ever, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 is already a runaway success on PC & Xbox. We expect a repeated performance," said Florence Alibert, Marketing Director for Ubisoft Europe, Middle-East & Asia. "Thrilling and realistic single- multi-player gameplay, intelligent AI, stunning graphics and an amazing real-time voice command system are combined to deliver the best counter-terrorist gaming experience on the market - period."
