Omikron: The Nomad Soul creators announce new episodic adventure title.

Quantic Dreams - the developer behind Omikron: The Nomad Soul, has revealed its latest project Fahreneight.

The game is set to be an episodic adventure title, based upon the same premise as a TV series. The game follows the story of a series of mysterious killings in New York City committed by ordinary citizens with no previous criminal record.

Players will take on the role of numerous characters including the murderer and the detective in charge of the case. As with a TV series an ongoing plot will develop, whilst heroes and villains will emerge, you'll also be kept on the edge of your toes as each monthly episode ends on a suspenseful cliffhanger.

Fahrenheight will utilise Quantic Dreams ICE 3D engine, which supports such effects as real-time specular lighting and self-shadowing. The screenshots shown all come from real-time in game sequences.

Fahrenheight's first episode is due for release in Q2 2002, for more information visit www.fahrenheightgame.com
