Capcom confirms the release period for the sixth iteration of Battle Network across the pond...
With the combined Mega Man Battle Network 5: Double Team set for an April release on Nintendo DS in Europe, Capcom has today announced that the sixth instalment of the series, Mega Man Battle Network 6 will be arriving in North America sometime in the second quarter of 2006.
Split into two titles, Cybeast Gregar and Cybeast Falzar, Battle Network 6 will be released on GameBoy Advance, and will bring the story of Lan and Mega Man to an end. Following a move to the technologically advanced Cyber City, the two characters find themselves facing an ancient net threat, the Cybeasts.
Battle Network 6 is set to include a number of new features such as the Cross System and Beast Out powers, which enable Mega Man to use the abilities of defeated foes in battle. Each of the two versions of Battle Network 6 will differ slightly, including different strategies to defeat enemies, and different combinations of abilities.
