A Soccer Game confirmed for the Wii currently in development at Konami...
A line-up of forthcoming Wii titles currently in development reveals that a soccer title is currently in development for Nintendo's next home console. Admittedly it's pure speculation at this stage, however the PES fanboys in us hopes that Konami's superlative footie series is on the way to the Wii.
Allow us to speculate for one moment at just how well a football title could work on the Wii, using the Nunchuku controller for standard control, along with the Wii remote to give a greater degree of precision over the angle at which the ball is struck and opening up the realms for plenty of tricks and techniques not possible on conventional pads.
Then again what's listed as "Soccer Game" could end up being far removed from the Pro Evolution Soccer series; let's just hope Konami are listening to our prayers...
