Konami confirm agreements with three European leagues to feature accurate player/team data…

Following on from confirmation that Konami have secured an agreement with the Dutch Football Association to feature accurate team/player data in Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Konami today confirmed that it has secured similar deals with the Spanish and Italian leagues.

Players can expect to get to grips with the likes of Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Juventus and Parma to mention but a few of 56 licensed clubs from a total of 136 teams featured. In addition the game will feature more then 50 national teams, giving the player control of up to 4,500 of the worldâs greatest players.

As weâve previously mentioned, Pro Evolution Soccer 4 features an all-new dribbling system designed to grant players more freedom as they go one-on-one and try to beat opposing players, whilst crosses and cut-back passes now feature more precision.

"We are delighted to add three officially licensed leagues to Pro Evolution Soccer 4," commented Martin Schneider, Director of Marketing, Konami of Europe. "Fans of the game have long called for us to implement their favourite teams in their favourite game, and this marks a major step forward in our quest to deliver the most authentic football title around. Adding all clubs from the Dutch, Spanish and Italian leagues confirms that we are committed to adding more and more authenticity to the series, and Konami of Europe is confident that further deals with other clubs will follow in the near future."

Weâll have more on Pro Evolution Soccer 4 soon.
