Winning Eleven Producer confirms that his team are evaluating online play and that fans shouldn’t have too long to wait…
In an interview recently featured in the latest issue of Famitsu, Shingo Takatsuka Producer Winning Eleven 8, confirmed that the latest title will not feature online play as we had already reported.
However itâs not entirely bad news for fans, as Takatsuka-san confirmed that his team have been looking into the possibility of online play for a long time and suggested that fans wonât have to wait too long before being able to play against oncomers from across the globe.
Takatsuka-san claimed that the team are waiting until the mode can be fully realised before incorporating it, and went on to suggest about the possibility of 11 players competing against 11.
Whether or not the long rumoured Xbox version will in fact become the first Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution title to feature online play still remains uncertain, as Konami has become very quiet on the title as a whole.
Weâll be sure to keep pestering Konami for details.
