PS2 version to be released mid-October, Xbox and PC version to follow in November…
The waiting is almost over - Konami of Europe has announced that the PlayStation2 version of Pro Evolution Soccer 4 will be released on October 15th across the whole of Europe. The game will be released on PC-DVD in November, along with the franchiseās debut on the Xbox.
Pierluigi Collina, who appeared on the packaging of PES3, will this time be joined by Thierry Henry and Francesco Totti. PES4 also includes 56 clubs under license from the Spanish and Dutch leagues, and the whole of the Italian league.
Confirming the release, Martin Schneider, European Marketing & PR Director for Konami of Europe stated that, "Each year, the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise gets bigger and bigger, and the launch of Pro Evolution Soccer 4 represents possibly the biggest advance for the series to dateā¦The addition of licensed clubs, vastly improved gameplay, and its association with some of the biggest names in football in Henry, Totti and Collina prove how important it is to Konami, and we anticipate huge sales as eager fans queue for their copies on October 15th."
