Patch 1.1 brings a host of improvements to MultiPrey but no new content yet...
Having taken over 10 years to bring Prey to life, what's a few extra months to iron out any of the niggles and bugs in the current build. That certainly seems to be the maxim at 2K Games and Human Head Studios, who today confirmed the release of Patch 1.1 with a slew of updates to the multiplayer mode.
Among the list of improvements are multiplayer optimisations to facilitate better play on high-lag connections, improved multiplayer browsing and overall stability. Players will be notified of the update (and any further patches) upon entering the MultiPrey menu or by clicking on the Update button in the main menu. Players without the patch will be unable to see patched servers and vice-versa when browsing for games.
Currently 2K Games have made no announcement regarding the Xbox 360 version and the patch makes no reference to the extra multiplayer content promised earlier; expect further details on this soon.
