Fixes, maps, and multiplayer characters set to be released in the future, according to 3D Realms...
Now that Prey has been released in recent weeks, 3D Realms has confirmed that work is under way at both Venom Games and Human Head Studios on Patch 1.1, together with more multiplayer content.
Making the announcement on their official website, 3D Realms unveiled that Patch 1.1 would solve a number of issues reported in the game, including certain weapon exploits in the multiplayer, and that a patch would be made available for both PC and Xbox 360 versions of the FPS title.
Additionally, the company confirmed that the teams are working on new multiplayer content, including maps better suited to small groups, and six new characters to choose from: Jen, Elhuit, Mother, Becky, Hunter, and Elite Hunter.
A release date for the patch (and the cost to Xbox 360 gamers) is still to be announced.
