Premium 360 Price Cut Spotted? News

Has one of Microsoft's E3 surprises been let out of the bag prematurely...
Widely rumoured to be announcing a price cut (in the US at least) as one of its "major" announcements at the forthcoming E3 event, alleged scans of a US retailer's advert suggest Microsoft may be about to chop $50 off the price of the Xbox 360 Premium.
If the rumour is true, than the reduction to $299.99 should at the very least provide further momentum behind US sales as it squares up against Sony for the next round.
The advert makes no reference to the Elite or Arcade models, although Microsoft has never previously reduced one SKU solely, particularly when the alleged new price would be coming very close to the $279.99 RRP of the Arcade unit.
Currently it's unclear whether a similar move would follow across Europe and the UK, although prices are surprisingly similar between the territories at present so we'd suggest such a price cut would follow suit throughout the regions.
