Running With Scissors suitably embarrassed at the first Postal 3 website...
Never one to usually to shy away from controversy, Postal creators Running With Scissors were today forced to clarify an earlier Postal 3 press release and rue the complexities of multi-national development and communication breakdown.
Earlier today, the game's Russian developers, Akella, issued a press release announcing the launch of the official website. Liking the situation to "a flaming bag of crap", Running With Scissor's Vince Desi denied this was the case and blamed the amateurish release on an uninformed and inexperienced young copy writer trying "... their hand at an American-style POSTAL press release, with grim results."
Although the "official" website has mysteriously disappeared, we'll save you from the original release and leave you with the game's tagline:
"POSTAL III is not intended for Politicians, your mom, your little sister, or the priest molesting her. It is a game about free will. Violence begets violence and the choice is yours."
Hmmm... perhaps even Desi shirked away from that one!
