Reports suggest that a PlayStation video store has been shown off at a US publisher and retailer conference...


Early reports are suggesting that Sony has unveiled a PlayStation video store to publishers and retailers at a conference in the US. The Destination PlayStation conference took place last week in Arizona.

According to Kotaku, the demonstrated content is owned by Sony Pictures while the service will apparently be coming to North America sometime this December. No further details, such as prices or when the service may be coming to other territories, was given at the conference.

The service is said to utilise a similar format to PSN's current SingStore. The rumours suggest that Sony also detailed a face-lift to the PlayStation Store at the conference (due in the spring), which also features a similar SingStore style interface.

very cool as in dead and yes sony admitted the new firmware can potentially kill a ps3 if the download leaps from 50% to 100% instead of ie 51%52%53% ect

i wouldnt even take 360 if given free.coz i wud buuy all the game and it wud break from over heating.so its useless until u are idiot to buy 360 after its constant breaking and lack of good games.

actually its a post to do with ps3 (no specific subject) so why even bring the 360 into it.
there is a page for the 360 and for the wii, why cant people go multi format.
