PlayStation Site Confirms Outrun 2??? News

The US PlayStation website hastily removes acknowledgement of Outrun 2 on PS2, but PSP version remains...
Though there has been no announcement that the classic SEGA franchise is heading over to Sony's home and handheld consoles, it seems that both the PlayStation2 and PSP will be new homes for Outrun 2 in the first quarter of 2006. Though the page confirming a PlayStation2 version of Outrun 2: Coast to Coast has since been taken down, the PSP page remains - along with a North American release period of February 2006.
Aside from the appearance (and subsequent disappearance of the PS2 version) of the game on the site, details are pretty much non-existent except that the PSP version has some level of Ad Hoc Wi-Fi.
Confirmation from either SEGA and Sony is yet to be made, and rumours that Outrun would jump to Sony's platforms have been made in the past, but it now seems likely that the game will be arriving in the next few months.
