Ubi confirms Prince of Persia: The Fallen King; new adventure sees the Prince fight against the 'Corruption'...
Although a new Prince of Persia DS adventure was announced at the same time as its home console counterparts, Ubisoft has today confirmed additional details on the handheld version.
Entitled 'Prince of Persia: The Fallen King', the portable adventure - separate to the events of its bigger brother - sees the acrobatic hero try to eliminate 'The Corruption', described as a dark substance that has infected much of Persia. Along the way, the Prince meets a new (and playable) character called Magus, but is the partially infected a true ally?
The Fallen King is in development at Ubisoft's Casablanca studio, and is being built with a control system that focuses on the DS' stylus. Like the home console Prince of Persia, The Fallen King is scheduled to launch during the Holiday season.
The adventure is set to become the first true Prince of Persia title on Nintendo's handheld following 2005's more strategic Battles of Prince of Persia.
