By Jon Wilcox on 25/01/2007 Nintendo confirms a European release date for Phoenix Wright: Justice for All...Nintendo has today announced that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All will be released on Nintendo DS across Europe on March 16th. Developed and published by Capcom, the game will be distributed by Nintendo, and picks up the story of the young lawyer six months after the events of the original release.
As well as featuring the split crime-scene/courtroom gameplay of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Justice for All will include a number of new features including the 'Psyche-Lock' ability, which enables gamers to unlock the truth from some of the more stubborn witnesses. Wright's reputation will also be on stake thanks to the addition of a new 'Life Meter' that drops when players bring dubious evidence or fail 'Psyche-Lock' tasks. When the meter is completely empty, players will lose the case...
Besides the new storyline, which sees the unveiling of a new District Attorney (none other than the daughter of original rival, Manfred von Karma), players will of course be able to shout "Objection!" once again into their DS microphones...no doubt leading to another round of strange looks from fellow commuters.
