Ubisoft announce the release of two new multiplayer maps via Xbox Live!...
Ubisoft today announced that premium downloadable content is now available for the Xbox version of Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow via Xbox Live!.
Sam Fisher fans can now get their hands on two new multiplayer maps, guaranteed to please those making Pandora Tomorrow the most played game on Xbox Live! to date. The new maps entitled âFederal Reserve Bankâ and âRiver Mallâ are available to download for $5.
Federal Reserve Bank is one of the local branches of the American Federal Reserve, however unknown to the public, the bank also holds a sizeable stack of gold and many confidential documents. The documents and gold are stored in a high-security zone, beyond a reinforced door. The map works on the same principle as the âWarehouseâ map, access to the high-security zone is only possible if one of the objectives in the first zone has been taken.
The River Mall is a shopping mall in an average provincial town, making it the perfect place to strike terror into the heart of Middle America. Like all malls, this one has a flagship store, an audio-video hypermarket called the HiFi Store, a majestic entrance and knowing Ubisoft plenty of in-game advertising. Weâre told that âinnovation and interactionâ are the key to success for the map, with many means provided for the infiltrators to attack; for example, spies can unblock several passages, by hacking into the electronic boxes they can block ventilators and they can also deactivate the network of security cameras. The map also introduces a new tool for the Mercenaries in the shape of a holographic map in the watchmenâs room, which shows the position of the enemy.
