THQ and Pandemic Studios lift the wraps from its forthcoming tactical military shooter...
Having easily burst past the 1 million mark, a sequel to THQ and Pandemic Studios, Full Spectrum Warrior, was always on the cards as both companies today confirmed the development of Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers.
Once again players are thrust into a war-torn conflict taking command of multiple infantry fire teams, through 12 intense levels of hostile warfare. Pandemic promises an array of enhancements and innovations from its predecessor, including taking command of vehicles, snipers and interior locations.
In addition the multiplayer features are being ramped up considerably, providing a variety of head-to-head or co-op situations that can be played online.
"The critical acclaim, commercial success and fan base for the Full Spectrum Warrior brand continues to grow, with the game reaching Platinum status on Xbox and the recent launch of the PlayStation 2 game," said Peter Dille, senior vice president, worldwide marketing, THQ. "Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is expected to have a simultaneous launch across all platforms, taking the brand to the next level with enhanced gameplay and intense online features."
"We're proud of the technological and design innovation that has fueled the success of the Full Spectrum WarriorTM brand," added Pandemic Studios CEO Andrew Goldman. "Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten HammersTM will build on that innovation with features such as interior environments, sniper units, player-controlled mechanized vehicles, and a robust multiplayer experience, all while maintaining the authenticity of infantry squad command."
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is currently in development for the Playstation2, Xbox and PC; weâll have a closer look from E3.
