Square-Enix confirms the development of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core for the PSP, rounding off the “Final Fantasy VII Compilation”…

Square-Enix today confirmed the development of yet another addition to the Final Fantasy VII universe, with the announcement that Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core is currently in development for the Sony PSP.

Billed as an Action-RPG, the game appears to be in a relatively early stage of development, with a 2006 release touted in Japan.

The title marks the fourth addition in the âFinal Fantasy VII Compilationâ, after the previous announcements of the UMD/DVD release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis for mobile phones and finally the PS2 action/adventure title Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus.

Weâll have more information on all of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation titles soon.

crisis core was a good game it helped explain alot i think they could remake but i'd rather see an actual sequel but none of us no if they will or not

I think they should make a crisis core 2 and it starts off right when crisis core ends, and it tells a little story of what happen to cloud and the copy of angeal as the director. Then it would go on into the 1st Final Fantasy VII game. With the sa... [ Read full comment... ]

The creator of the ff series left ages ago and formed Mistwalker sudios, please keep up. plus conosle crossovers are nothing new, both side deny theyre losing theyre exclusives so it could appear on the 360, 11 did. PLus i remember ps2 owners saying ... [ Read full comment... ]
