Rambus allegedly release specific details on the type of memory set to feature within the Playstation3…


Various reports today surfaced suggesting that new details on the Playstation3 were revealed at the Rambus Developer Forum 2004, recently held in Tokyo.

Itâs claimed that the Playstation3 will feature 256 Mb XDR RAM when previously a figure of 512Mb was mentioned; XDR memory is capable of extremely fast data transfer operating at speeds close to 3.2 GHz.

Naturally the reason behind the decision stems from the need to lower the cost of production; however it should be noted that this has yet to be officially confirmed or denied â“ as always we suggest waiting for the official word before taking this for granted.

It's Final Fantasy VII sequel. That date is the same time as scheduled Square Enix DKS3713 August 2nd/3rd.

this a good thing over 9 yrs it will happen folk wiil soon tire of wii's and the xbox(which is nearly all shooters, fun 4 a while, but ps3 does more in all ways
