PS3 In Europe - March 23rd ??? News

European launch close to being finalised as countdown begins for the PlayStation 3...


Despite suggestions of a delay to the launch of the PlayStation3 across Europe, TVG has today learnt from an inside source and further documents that a March 23rd release appears very "likely".

Although it's not exactly a revelation given Sony Computer Entertainment Europe' insistence on a March launch, with five Friday's in the month there's at least a 20% chance we're right. However, we're pretty confident that Sony fans can put the penultimate Friday of the month in their diaries as the date to start queuing, rioting or forking out loads on eBay.

Expect an official announcement on the subject soon.

It's Final Fantasy VII sequel. That date is the same time as scheduled Square Enix DKS3713 August 2nd/3rd.

this a good thing over 9 yrs it will happen folk wiil soon tire of wii's and the xbox(which is nearly all shooters, fun 4 a while, but ps3 does more in all ways
